On Oct 1-21 1997, a Greeks For Christ team visited the Land Down Under on a three-week evangelistic mission. They were invited to speak to more than seven different Greek churches, representing five different denominations in three cities. The three cities were Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.

This monumental evangelistic tour brought together the Greek believers in Australia with one purpose: to glorify Jesus Christ and to encourage each other to fulfill the Great Commission to the Greeks of Australia.

	On one occasion, we traveled to the Capitol City of Canberra and ministered to a bus load of tourists. Here, the group is in front of the Parliament building.
	Canberra's annual Floriade celebration attracts thousands of visitors each year with its display of colorful sculptures and beds of beautiful flowers.
	It is said that there over one million flowers displayed during the festival.
	Some familiar fast food restaurants have a different face and name in Australia.
	Although we did not exactly see kangaroos jumping around the streets of Sydney, we did have an opportunity to see some of the strange creatures during our visit to the beautiful Barossa Valley.

	The Sydney Harbor was a magnificent sight. It truly lives up to its claim of being one of the world's most beautiful harbors.
	We thank God that as the Word went forth many lives were touched and changed by the power of the Gospel.
